Settings

Every setting is explained here – in the same order and grouping as in the app. Open settings from the menu.

Appearance

• Theme – Light, Dark or “System” (follows your device).
• Themes – opens the list of colour themes; custom themes are possible.
• Language – “System” or a bundled language, with a country flag.

Behaviour

• Sound on count – a click sound on every count step (off by default).
• Haptic feedback – vibration when counting (on by default).
• Haptic strength – light, medium or heavy; shown only when haptics are on.
• Volume buttons – count with the volume up/down keys (Android, on by default).
• Keep screen awake – prevents the screen from turning off while counting (on by default).
• Confirm before reset – a safety prompt before resetting (on by default).

General

• First day of week – Monday or Sunday; affects statistics and the calendar.

Defaults for new counters

These defaults apply to every newly created counter (still changeable per counter):

• Default step size – e.g. 1; decimal values are possible too.
• Default shape – circle, square, pentagon, hexagon or octagon.
• Button layout – order (−+ or +−) and placement of the counting buttons (split, left or right) – including left-handed use.
• Allow decimals – whether new counters allow fractional values (off by default).

Privacy

• Privacy options – adjusts your ad consent (consent/UMP). This item only appears when consent is required in your region and ads are shown (Free plan).

App info

• Version – shows the installed app version (marked accordingly for developer builds).
